Robert Fowler Memorial Park

Located at the junction of the Choctawahatchee and Pea Rivers in Geneva, Alabama, is the Robert Fowler Memorial Park -- home of one of the largest and oldest live oaks in Alabama and location of the annual Geneva Festival on the Rivers. 

Some of the amenities you will find at Fowler Park include a public boat landing, canoe ramp,  pier, pond, rv sites, play ground, bathroom and showers, food pavilion, cook house and picnic tables.  Picnic tables scattered throughout the park may be used free of charge.  The food pavilion and shelter house may be used free of charge if it has not been rented for an event.

Facilities may be rented for special events.  All reservations are on a first come basis and fees must be paid before the reservation can be booked.

Facilities available for rent:


Gazebo, Food Pavilion and Cookhouse: $35.00 per building per day.

Shelter House: $20.00 per day.

​RV Parking: $20.00 per night; $15.00 for each additional night. No Deposit required. Water & Electricity hookups available.

The Food Pavilion and Shelter House may be used free of charge if it has not been rented.

A section of Geneva's walking trail extends down to the camp sites located across the road from the entrance to the park.

C.D. Chapman Memorial Park

C. D. Chapman Memorial Park is home to Geneva's Baseball/Softball programs.

The park includes bathroom facilities, batting cages, picnic pavilion, press box/concession area surrounded by four regulation ready fields.  In addition to these four fields there is a t-ball field and an additional practice field.

The four regulation fields are named in honor of citizens:

Field 1:   Farrar Field - Named after long time coach Bill Farrar

Field 2:   Benson Field - Named after Mr. W. T. Benson founder of Benson Wholesale

Field 3:   Herring Field - Named after Geneva's longest serving Mayor Hugh Herring.

Field 4:   Baker Field - Named after former Council Member Gus Baker
